Buying an authentic squash blossom necklace is an investment that usually spans from $1k to $10k plus, new and old, depending on the artist, age and quality.
For the rest of us still saving (and saving and saving) smaller vintage and new squash blossoms may be best. One of my favorites in rotation is an older necklace that I coaxed from a collector at a pop-up market.

Even smaller necklaces are investments that easily rival a car payment or two. Personally, I prefer the lighter pieces rather than heavy silver around my neck.
My compromise: This Navajo necklace has small silver squash blossoms with some silver plating, that’s closer to the cost of a big bouquet of flowers delivered from the florist.
Flowers fade, but silver squash blossoms are a sterling choice for starting a turquoise and silver collection.
