This season of social distancing has been admittedly weird and wonderful and tough, and I think many of us feel guilty for feeling so conflicted during a pandemic that rivals anything we’ve seen in our generation.
This weekend Valley Creek’s Jason Hillier challenged my thinking with his Right Now message.
We can spend (way too much of) our time dwelling on the past or dreaming (way too much) about our future, but don’t miss the wonderful things God is doing right now.
This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.

3. Rest is refreshing my creativity

I’ve never worked from home before, so the hours saved from commuting is allowing me to relax and take a closer look in ways I never imagined before, inspiring my creativity.
4. I am loved

So are you, by the way. If you are struggling to stay hopeful amid fear, please reach out to a trusted friend, counselor or loving church. Stay well.
